Monetary Donations

The Wilson Historical Museum welcomes guests to explore the unique history of Wilson and surrounding cities. By contributing to the Museum, you help to strengthen and grow this important community resource and provide a venue for visitors to explore, learn and interact with history. Please join us in preserving Wilson's history by making a tax-deductible donation today!

You choose how to support the Museum by designating your donation in one of two ways - as an unrestricted donation or as an endowment donation. Please review the descriptions below for more details.

Donation Types

Unrestricted donations assist with the operating expenses for the Wilson Historical Museum.

Endowment donations provide long-term financial support to the Society and Museum. Donations to the Endowment can be designated as:

• General donations
• Donations “in memory of” a loved one or friend, or “in honor of” someone who is still living. Your donation is recorded in an album in the Museum, and serves as a permanent and lasting gift to help retain the history of Wilson and the surrounding communities. If desired, we will also notify any third party you specify of your donation.
• Bequested or planned gifts. Click here for more information

Sustaining Sponsors are those who make a single donation of $100 or more in a given year to help with the operating expenses of the Museum. Each year the sustaining sponsors are listed on the Museum website.
